Shawl Knit-Along

Event Date:
October 25, 2022
Event Time:
6:00 pm
Event Location:
Owl Moon Farm
This month for our Honoring God in Homemaking Series, we will gather at Owl Moon Farm for a knitting workshop! If you’re a beginner you can learn to knit, learn how to read a pattern, troubleshoot…
If you’re an intermediate knitter you can learn how to work with DPNs (double-pointed needles) or Circular needles, learn lace or cables, see a sock in progress…
Or, if you’d like to bring your own pattern/materials please do so!
Advanced knitters are welcome too – you help everyone else!
Shawl Knit-Along Ideas
I have NOT knitted either of these patterns (or any shawl, ever) but I am excited to learn alongside you! Feel free to look at one of these, check online for other ideas, or visit the yarn shop in Lexington for other ideas and advice.
I am planning to make the Scotch Mist shawl because it uses the weight yarn I currently have from my sheep.
