The Granary

We love our little farm and we know you will too! Join us for a weekend, or a week, or longer, and see what it’s like to love and live where you work. Visit the animals, go birdwatching, hike or bike the trails…

Our cozy guest cottage has 2 queen-size beds, a queen-size sleeper sofa, a twin bed and a queen-size air mattress. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to prepare farm fresh meals, including a full set of gourmet spices to compliment any dish. The kitchen is stocked with coffee from Lexington Coffee Roasters, an assortment of Bigelow teas, honey from Whistle Creek Apiaries, various sweeteners (Sugar in the Raw, Splenda, etc.) and a selection of CoffeeMate creamers. We are happy to provide recommendations for catering or, if you would prefer to dine out, we encourage you to visit our little hometown, Lexington, Virginia, just 15 minutes away. Children are welcome at Owl Moon Farm, but due to the unpredictable nature of farm animals, pets are not. It goes without saying that farms are potentially dangerous places – please keep your little ones under your close supervision at all times! Smoking on the farm is prohibited.

  1. We have reserved the house for a weekend in October. Id love to be able to tour the farm and possibly even help around the farm. Is this something we need to schedule or is it ok to just drop in? What are your suggestions on how to participate?
